There are two ways to get to The Glamping Tent, each offering its own unique experience. The first option is to fly into Puerto Jimenez Airport with Sansa Airlines, offering a stunningly scenic flight over the lush landscapes of the Osa Peninsula. Once you arrive, the cabin is just a 15-minute drive or taxi ride away. The second option is to fly into San José International Airport, rent a car, and embark on a beautiful 5-hour drive through the Costa Rican countryside. Be sure to stop at the famous Crocodile Bridge in Tarcoles—it’s a must-see along the way! Whether you choose to drive or fly, a two-wheel drive vehicle is more than enough to navigate the journey with ease.

Since the property borders a river, it serves as a natural wildlife corridor, providing a habitat for an incredible variety of animals. This unique location means that the wildlife on the property is abundant and diverse, offering an unforgettable opportunity for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.

Some of the remarkable animals that have been spotted here include Sloths, Coatimundis, and Tamanduas. You may also catch a glimpse of a River Otter gliding through the water or a rat snake slinking across the trails. The skies above are often graced by the majestic Scarlet Macaw, Roseate Spoonbill, and even the occasional Black Hawk soaring overhead. At night, the sounds of the jungle come alive with the hoots of a Spectacle Owl or the rustling of a Kinkajou in the trees.

The property is also home to a variety of reptiles, including the River Turtle, Red-Tailed Boa, Cat-Eyed Snake, “Jesus Christ” lizard, also known as the basilisk, and the infamous Ferdelance Snake . Mammals like the Jaguarundi, Opossum, and Porcupine roam the trails, while Capuchin Monkeys, Howler Monkeys, and Squirrel Monkeys swing through the canopy.
